Equipment

  • Instant pot
  • large bowl
  • spatula
  • plate

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound raw or green peanuts remember if you are using raw, you must soak them overnight
  • 4 cups water
  • 2/3 cup Pink Himalayan Salt or Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add the peanuts to a large bowl and rinse well.
  • Place them into the Instant Pot.
  • Add the water to the pot and just cover the peanuts.
  • Add the salt and stir.
  • So that they don't rise to the top, place a plate on top of the peanuts.
  • Place the lid on and seal.
  • Set the time to 70 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally.
  • Then open the vent by hand and let the steam continue to release.
  • Using either a colander or pasta strainer, drain the peanuts out of your Instant Pot.
  • Make sure they have totally had the water drained off.
  • Let them continue to dry and then place them into an airtight container.
  • To enjoy, shell the peanuts with your fingers or teeth.
